As lifelong entrepreneurs, we’ve turned a personal call into a mission to equip others with the information, skills, and tools to reclaim control and live a more intentional, rural-adjacent lifestyle.
We’re lifelong entrepreneurs who have spent decades building businesses and creating opportunities, but everything changed when cancer forced us to confront our health, our habits, and the reality of what modern living had normalized, especially the role of processed food. That experience didn’t just shift our perspective, it reshaped our priorities.
What started as a personal journey toward better food, stronger self-reliance, and a more intentional way of living became something bigger. We began learning, testing, and refining practical ways to grow, preserve, and prepare food and created The Metro Homestead to help others take back control and build a rural-adjacent lifestyle, right where they are.
